gothic romance

Mmmm.... I believe romance is all about how much you are willing to give, rather than expecting it. At the same time if there is no love, what fun would a romance be?- Just a flickering flame.Robert Lee Frost once said, "Love is an irresistable desire to be irresistably desired." This is so true. Like I have said, romance without love would be like a body without soul. For me, a gothic romance should be like a hot-ice, neither lukewarm nor cool...'cause that's what I am. Bruce Lee once said in an interview, "Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable." I think that conclude the relationship between a gothic romance and a gothic love. They say, "time heals everything" but after a bad experience that I had , to me, the quote is totally inversed. It could have been "time gives you enough work to heal yourself". This may be totally wrong to you, but it does have some gothicness in it. Love is like a dream, the more the reality the more dreamy it becomes... I guess that's the beauty of love. When you love... give give give give and give more.... and you're not going to lose anything by it. That is the purpose of love. There is always beauty in life and death, in purity and dirtiness. Sorrows, angst, love, romance, etc are all arts in my gothic life...

P.S. Keep gothic romance alive

  1. When I love, I just love to the best of what I can offer... doesnt necessarily need a classification or whether I love within the gothic romance or not (no offence here). But what I find most important is that we keep loving one another no matter what... even if the physical being bid goodbye to one another... the beauty of love is it keeps growing... And Im the living proof who still loves him.... no matter what...

  3. Gothica, the way you perceive love is very philosophical! Few, I believe would comprehend the depth of it!
